Splash 2000 is a fun and exciting swim school, every lesson is full of activity whilst learning the valuable lessons of how to swim, keeping safe and practice technique.
Splash 2000 is for children and young people and has been established for over six years. Based at Westfield School, the pool is 25m long and has a depth of 0.7 to 7.0m. Splash 2000 offers a safe, fun and friendly environment for children to learn in.
Classes are held on Monday’s & Friday’s 4.30 – 6.00pm and each class lasts for 30 minutes.
Working to the A.S.A National Teaching Plan, we teach all levels from toddlers to teens, maintaining a high quality of instruction to a low ratio of children, six being the maximum allowed per class.
At Splash 2000 all instructors are A.S.A qualified swimming teachers and are passionate and committed to their work. We recognise that all children are individuals, not numbers and understand that they all have different abilities and needs.
Small class sizes ensure a high standard of teaching is maintained at all times. All children are taught at levels according to their ability and are assessed on a continual basis. We also believe that children should have fun whilst gaining confidence and learning to swim. Remember this is a gift that one-day might save their lives!!
During a swimming term the children will develop skills and techniques on the four strokes as well as diving and personal survival. This proven method of instruction helps inspire them to develop their swimming abilities further and motivates them to progress and achieve the levels they desire.
